Heather Stephenson, Clinical Mental Health Counselor earned her bachelors degree in Psychology from Utah State University in 2001. After taking some time off to start her family, she went back to school and earned her masters in counseling from the University of Phoenix in 2009. While in her internship, she found how much she enjoyed working with children and decided to pursue her training to become a registered play therapist. Heather has worked in private practice for 7 years. Her favorite clientele are the children she works with, especially teenagers. She is a current board member for the Utah Association for Play Therapy. In her spare time Heather likes to be involved in physical activities such as running in 5ks, cycling, and triathlons.
