Sharlene is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Utah and her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix.
Sharlene is a nationally certified counselor with the National Board for Certified Counselors. She is a NOJOS (Network on Juvenile Offending Sexually) affiliate therapist. She is also a certified Domestic Violence Counselor through the Utah Domestic Violence Council.
Sharlene has over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents and their families. She has provided group, individual, and family therapy in residential treatment, child welfare, and private practice. Sharlene loves assisting families with navigating through life's challenges while helping them develop more adaptive skills in order to find their path to a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life. She has her own private practice, Landmark Family Counseling, located in Utah and Salt Lake County.
Sharlene was born in Utah. She loves nature and being outdoors. She enjoys running, biking, snowboarding, wakeboarding, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
