Description:
Whether you are working toward becoming a play therapy supervisor or you are already an RPT-S you will benefit from this training. There have been a lot of changes to the RPT application process in the past several years. Come learn about relevant changes to the RPT process and the role of a play therapy supervisor versus the role of a consultant. Participants will learn about the 3 phase model that APT has outlined and how it fits nicely with a developmental model of supervision. And of course participants will walk away with some interventions that they can implement with their supervisees.
Objectives:
1.Participants will learn about relevant paperwork for play therapy supervision including contracts, APT Phases, and competencies.
2. Gain an understand of how a Developmental Model can look in play therapy Supervision.
3. Learn at least 2 techniques to use during the different phases of play therapy supervision.
