Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S)
Laura da Silva is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Registered Play Therapist – Supervisor. She earned Bachelors in psychology from Utah State University and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. She has been working as a therapist for over 5 years. She owns her own private practice in Sandy. She has published 3 articles and 3 books. Her specialties include child therapy, self-esteem, trauma and abuse, depression and anxiety. She is fluent in the Portuguese language. As well as spending time with her husband and 4 children, she enjoys going camping, snowboarding, and making craft projects in her spare time.
Sharlene is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Utah and her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix.
Sharlene is a nationally certified counselor with the National Board for Certified Counselors. She is a NOJOS (Network on Juvenile Offending Sexually) affiliate therapist. She is also a certified Domestic Violence Counselor through the Utah Domestic Violence Council.
Sharlene has over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents and their families. She has provided group, individual, and family therapy in residential treatment, child welfare, and private practice. Sharlene loves assisting families with navigating through life’s challenges while helping them develop more adaptive skills in order to find their path to a happier, healthier, and more fulfilling life. She has her own private practice, Landmark Family Counseling, located in Utah and Salt Lake County.
Sharlene was born in Utah. She loves nature and being outdoors. She enjoys running, biking, snowboarding, wakeboarding, hiking, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Stuart Harper works as an LCSW, RPT-S. He graduated with an MSW from BYU in 1998 and received the postgraduate RPT-S credential in 2004. Since 1998 he has been employed in the non-profit sector with Family Support & Treatment Center in Orem, and has functioned as their Clinical Director since 2004. His primary populations include abuse, trauma, attachment and adoption. Stuart also provides contract services to the Utah County Justice Center for their children’s treatment groups, and is a lead writer for Empowered Life Solutions. He has served as the UAPT treasurer since 2005.
Kayelyn Robinson, LCSW (She, Her, Hers) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 11 years of experience. She is trained in EMDR, Trauma-focused CBT, infant mental health, Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder,and is a Registered Play Therapist and a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor (RPTS). She is specialized in children, play therapy, trauma and attachment. She enjoys working with children, teens, adults, and families on a variety of issues, including: play therapy, trauma, attachment and abuse, and addictions. She has facilitated the Child Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) class for her clinic and developed a Parenting the Traumatized Child Group for caregivers in a surrogate parent role (kinship, guardianship, foster care, and adoptive parents). She has served as a back up trainer for Utah Foster Care for potential (pre service training) foster parents and also for ongoing training for currently licensed foster parents. She currently serves on the Utah Association of Play Therapy board.
Kayelyn loves camping, being with her family, spoiling grandchildren, traveling, reading, and listening to music. She also enjoys refurbishing old furniture.
