“Oh no, it’s time to renew my play therapy certification, and I have to take an ethics course, what a YAWNER.” Hey, play therapist! Ethics does not have to be boring. Through the use of playful interventions, Clinical, Professional and Ethical issues in play therapy will be taught. This class will be a playful reminder of our ethical responsibilities as play therapists. You won’t be able to Yawn your way through this workshop.
- Learn how to use play in understanding ethical standards in play therapy
- Understand the ethical play therapy relationship
- Using Playful reminders to understand the role of Confidentiality as play therapists
- Identify Best Practices in play therapy through expressive arts
*This training is limited to 40 people due to space. Please Park on Orem Blvd on the street. The parking lot cannot accommodate the extra cars.
Bio. Information: John has been practicing therapy for thirty years and is the owner of the Center for Sandplay and Expressive Arts. He has been on the Utah Association for Play Therapy Board for over two decades. John teaches a series of sand play and expressive arts trainings. He is the father of nine children and has three grandchildren. One of John’s passions is to create, design, and develop expressive art interventions.
